When news of casting for the Iron Man movie was announced in December 2006, I said to myself, finally after 22 years of rumors back and forth about an Iron Man film it is really happening. After seeing the movie it was indeed worth the wait. First and foremost, hats off the director Jon Favreau who not only kept to the path of the comic book but was also able to blend the different storylines from the comics and integrated it in a very realistic tale. Being no stranger to the Marvel Universe, Favreau has portrayed two Marvel characters-as Franklin ’Foggy’ Nelson in Daredevil and as ‘Harold ‘Happy’ Hogan in Iron Man.
